Your initial password

When you apply to NIU, you are given an initial password. It is temporary and must be changed
to a permanent password at password.niu.edu.

Your initial password is your date of birth in YYYYMmmDD format.

For example, if your birthdate is January 1, 1993, your initial password is 1993Jan01.
