The H: drive
Students have 100MB of space on the H: drive. The advantage to storing files on the H: drive is that these files are accessible whenever you are logged into the NIU network.
The H: drive is not backed up by ITS. You are responsible for backing up your data.
Access your H: drive from off campus
Mac Leopard FTP to H: drive
You need a FTP program to access your H: drive from off campus.One free FTP program is CoreFTP Lite.
FTP is used to "get" files from the network drive and store them on your local computer or "put" files on your local computer onto the network drive.
